Britax Kid Plus SICT Car Seat is a new improved group 2,3 Car Seat which offers advanced side impact protection for you child. Side Impact Cushion Technology (SICT) is comprised of air-filled, energy management cushions that reduce side impact crash energy by over 25%* for the child in the seat. It is important to note that the cushions do not deploy like airbags and are maintenance free. Your child is secured in the seat with the cars 3-point seat belt, which is correctly positioned over their shoulder and pelvis. The headrest is comfortable and ergonomically designed to provide extra comfort during rest and sleep and additional support in the event of an accident. *Reference: Internal BRITAX testing 2010
