The Mighty Boosh is unlike any show you are ever likely to see, or indeed 'hear', and one that defies description, the closest you could get to the unique style of Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding would be in the early days of Reeves and Mortimer, with their cardboard props and men with sticks. But unlike Reeves and Mortimer, the zany zookeepers Howard Moon (Juilan) and Vince Noir (Noel), never leave their own world. The Mighty Boosh inhabits a universe entirely of its own.

I am a big Boosh fan and I didn't know what to expect from the radio show, a lot of the Boosh TV stuff is very visual, but like Martito says below, it works and indeed sometimes better.
If you are new to the Boosh then this is a good introduction to the world of the Mighty Boosh.
If you are a fan of the Boosh but have never heard the radio show, then this is a MUST! You would not regret buying this.
They do use a lot of the ideas from the radio show in the 1st TV series, but there is enough difference to keep you interested, in fact you can play the "spot the unique material" or the "What's different in that scene"games.
Warning! Try not to listen to it it in public, as it WILL cause uncontrolled out bursts of laughter!! And this will lead others to think that you are a little peculiar!
Overall, this is a must buy for those new to the world of the Boosh and to the already converted!
genius!

this is the boosh at their absolute best. the show works (dare i say it!) better in your head than on screen. or even stage. the first tv series was based on this material and- although excellent- felt a little staid in comparison. this is as fresh as a daisy.
warning: be prepared for the funny looks from passers by as you walk down the street tittering uncontrollably to the boosh on your headphones!
Absolute classic

Their first series borrowed from these episodes in parts (or was it the other way round) however the majority of material will be new to television viwers. I can honestly say that I have listen to all episodes dozens of times in the car which is testament to the quality. Completely hilarious, The Boosh can get even more bizarre and ludicrous on the radio than on TV, for example the episode when Bob Fossil pilots an attack helicopter over the zoo with Vince wearing two eyepatches firing missiles at a naughty child. Its hard to put into words how funny and brilliant this is. I can't recommend it enough.
