still exciting after all these years

This is compulsory bedtime listening for my 8 year old son - the combination of familiar music at the start of each story gradually soothes him to sleep, and the tension as each mystery/crime is solved still grips him after almost a year of nightly use. The occasionally old fashioned language is no barrier to understanding and the high moral tone can only be a good thing :o)

I'm 40 and have it on my iPhone - I listen to it in bed and settles me off to sleep with thoughts of the sea, caves and Timmy the dog! Adventures and images of when life was less hectic :-)

My six year old has listened to this audiobook night after night. I wish I could buy some more like this. It has brought back some wonderful memories of when I read the books when I was a child.
