Review

Michael McIntyre Live And Laughing is the debut DVD of Britain's fastest rising
comedy star.

Having stormed the TV shows 'Live At The Apollo', 'Have I Got News For You',
'Mock The Week' and 'The Royal Variety Performance', Live And Laughing was the mesmerising first show of Michael's sell out five night run at the legendary Hammersmith Apollo.

Michael McIntyre is electrifying, his energy, charm and pinpoint observations leave the packed house baying for more.

Michael McIntyre Live And Laughing also includes Michael's appearance on
BBC1's Live At The Apollo.

Saw this guy on the Royal Variety Show (2008). He was the best act on it. This audio version lived up to my expectations. Very funny observational humour. Hardly any swearing which goes to show that top-notch comedians don't need to in order to be entertaining. Can't wait for the next one.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars The only comedian since Billy Connolly to make me laugh

I am not really a fan of stand up comedians, let alone new comedians. All those Gervaises, Brands, Carrs and Skinners have never raised more than a single snigger that was more like a snort through the nose. Watching the Royal Variety Show two years ago I was initially apprehensive when McIntyre took the stage, but he won me over very quickly.
His humour is real, identifiable, nowhere near as crude as some of the smut we are led to believe is comedy nowadays; and crucially, if it doesn't have you unable to breathe, crying with laughter and clutching an aching stomach, you are either dead, or a wall.
