Growing up in the eighties in East London was no picnic. With trouble at home and more at school, Danny Dyer didn't have many options. He was a rascal, running with a tough crowd, getting himself into scrapes with the Old Bill, on the verge of becoming just another nobody. Until he started to act. It came naturally to him.

Im a fan of autobographies and I have to say this one is my favourite to date, its very entertaining and quirky and gives an insight into the brilliant actor Danny Dyer's life, I couldnt put it down , its that good. After watching Danny's movies lately, his acting seems so natural and I was curious about his past living in London , and despite the bad times he's been through in his life , hes a great family man and a future icon to many other young people to fulfil their acting dreams. No-one will be disapointed reading this x x BRILLIANT!!!

 Love him Even More!..

Great book, couldn't put it down on holiday! I've always been a fan and didn't realise half the work he'd done. This book made me laugh too, you can imagine his cheeky cockney accent while you read it. Can't wait for the next one! :)

I've been a big fan of Danny's for a quite a few years now so was really excited to hear that he had done this autobiography. I'm certainly a fan of his films but wasn't keen on the documentaries and couldn't see why he was going down that road, putting his name to violence and hardmen but this honest "in his own words" book explains why he did. My only criticism is that the chapters from 18 onwards seem out of chronological order but alas it's a great read which is why I'm giving this a 5/5.
