5 An amazing book by a very inspirational person!katita1 | 26/08/2012 | See all katita1's reviews (5)As a physically disabled person and a wheelchair user, I could really identify with this book. I was recommended it by a member of Canine Partners at a disability exhibition ( NAIDEX) earlier this year. My life has near parallels with Sally's except I have cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus and am registered blind. I went to the same uni as her husband and have been recommended the use of an assistance dog. I also love to travel. The book is beautifully and thoughtfully written and stays with you long after you've finished it. I think this book will bring hope to a lot of disabled people and shows that being disabled isn't necessarily a bad thing! I can't wait for a sequel!
