The book tells of a man who is deserving of more acclaim and being brought to the nations attention.Stumbled upon this book and what a read.A man of such standing that he and his fellows put the Great into Britain. He almost did not make it through the experiences but what a guy-read it and it has the wow factor.Respect.

 Truly incredible

I was given the book to read as I was fortunate to grow up in the same village where Dennis lived for part of his life and never realised that one of the roads was named after his family - I do now. The insight he gives in this book is almost too hard to believe even though we know it happened, and yet he chose to experience it in order to understand it. I cannot recommend this book enough.

A breathtaking story of one mans journey for the truth, a heart stopping encounter of a solider who goes beyond the call of duty to save another mans life. I was hooked on this book, a slow start for a few chapters abut once the story develops it really begins and becomes engorsing.

The details of this man's story are remarkable, especially knowing that his details are facts. A very good read indeed.
