In 1978 Warren Fellows was convicted of heroin trafficking between Thailand and Australia and was consequently sentenced to life in Bang Kwang prison - known as the Bangkok Hilton. This is the story of his 12 years behind bars, the abuse of human rights and the squalid conditions he endured.

No joke,

I read this book in about 17 hours - I normally take quite a while to read my books, maybe three weeks on average. Started this on Saturday morning and couldn't stop reading until Sunday evening.

The hairs on my arms stand up on end just thinkings about some of the things Warren went through.

Really well written too - the book just drags you in by your feet.

It's like the best movie you've ever seen that lasts for 17 hours!

Get this book, then buy a copy for your best friend.

Amazing.

Hardhitting & compulsive (and sometimes repulsive!) reading

Like many others, I could not put this book down, and read it in an evening! Truthful and pulling no punches, I have recommended to all my friends. However, any would be drug traffickers should be made to read this before acting!!!

 Awesome

Brought this book as fought it looked like an entertaining read when i go away to thailand in couple of weeks.

It arrived yesterday and after reading the first chapter i couldn't put it down and read it cover to cover.

The ordeal this man went through for his crimes is shocking and his punishment is not only 12 years behind bars but a life sentance of memorys and regret. its a must read

A real lessson to be learnt!!

Not that I would have ever thought to traffic drugs, but this would most certainly put off even the most notorious drug offender! I couldn't put the book down, but I did have nightmares about the terror that Warren went through. A must read, but preferabley during the day and not before bed time!!

The Damage Done - Fantastic Reading

My brother bought me this for my birthday and it was the quickest book i have ever read, i couldn't put it down. I then bought "Marching Powder" which was superb as well, The Damage Done just had the edge although my bro preferred Marching Powder.
