A Definitive Account of the Suffolk Strangler

| | See all Daniel2008's reviews (1)

This book demonstrates the ability of Paul Harrison as a competitively keen true crime author, with his easy to read, yet deep, incisive exploration of all aspects of the Suffolk murders enquiry.
David Wilson provides expert analysis on the motives of a serial killer, and the social conditions which make some sections of society vulnerable to predators - he explores the validity and make-up of criminal profiles and offers a profession opinion on the science - or maybe art? - of profiling a killer and getting into the head of Steve Wright.
The serial murderer's life is examined and his other possible victims - five at least - discussed.
There have been at least 75 serial killers in the UK since 1888 and David Wilson examines a sample of 19 since 1960 to determine what can be done to stop these tragedies happening in future.
This is a must have for anyone interested in the Suffolk Strangler case. A must have.
