On 28 August 1984, Josef Fritzl drugged his teenage daughter with ether and imprisoned her in an underground bunker. Over the following twenty-four years, he raped and abused her, never letting her or the children she bore him out of the dark, windowless cellar. This title reconstructs the monstrous personality behind this hideous crime.

 Great Read

A very interesting read, its upsetting none the less, but interesting, as it delves into everything about Josef Frizl, and the crime he commited. It goes into every little detail, and tells you huge amounts of things what the news hadn't shown, inlcluding character references at the beginning of the book on Josef Frizl and his family.

And it is also inspiring as it shows that Elisabeth Frizl and her children, have some how managed to survive through such an ordeal, and live their life now, I find this v.v.inspiring that they have survived through such a thing, and now have the chance to re live their lives.
