June has come a long way from the rough East End background where she met, got pregnant by and eventually married Johnny Fuller. Now she lives in leafy Rainham, with her ultra-respectable second husband and a lovely social life. Then her world collapses when daughter Debbie announces that she is pregnant by her low-life, drug addict boyfriend.

 Excellent read

I really enjoyed this book. Having read everything Martina Cole had to offer and becoming really frustrated with her most recent repetitive books this is a breath of fresh air! Chambers gets to the point without overly describing everything. Gritty, dramatic and a bit violent definitley one for old Martina Cole fans!

This book reminded me of the earlier Martina Cole books which when picked up, you couldn't put down! Although you could predict what would happen, you just couldn't believe that someone could be so evil and a mother so nieve! I've just brought Billie Jo and can't wait to get stuck into that one!

 Very Good

This is the second book I have read by KC. The first one being Billy Jo. This was more intense and a better story than Billy Jo in my opinion, and although the end was sort of predictable, was so well written was worth the read. Am definitely going to read the other two she has written.

 Another awesome read!!

This book is fab! Any Martina Cole fan should read Kimberley Chambers books and they'll never look back! This is the second book I have read by her and I loved it. I read it in less than a week! Just about to start reading The Betrayer and am hoping it will be just as good, if not better!!!!
