Dumbledore lowered his hands and surveyed Harry through his half-moon glasses. 'It is time,' he said, 'for me to tell you what I should have told you five years ago, Harry. Please sit down. I am going to tell you everything.' Harry Potter is due to start his fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizadry. He is desperate to get back to school and find out why his friends Ron and Hermione have been so secretive all summer. However, what Harry is about to discover in his new year at Hogwarts will turn his whole world upside down...But before he even gets to school, Harry has an unexpected and frightening encounter with two Dementors, has to face a court hearing at the Ministry of Magic and has been escorted on a night-time broomstick ride to the secret headquarters of a mysterious group called 'The Order of the Phoenix'. And that is just the start. A gripping and electrifying novel, full of suspense, secrets, and - of course - magic.

I love this book it's really good. It's exsiting and i love it. It was a hard job though because out of all the harry potter books this is the longest one of them all. It's great to read and loved it all. Plus i did get the book finished before i seen it at the cinima.

This is my most favourite Harry Potter book. It had my emotions all over the place. I really wanted to get in there and box a certain person, and also had me laughing out loud over Fred and George.

Basically a new teacher comes to Hogwarts, who is so awful. She causes a lot trouble and upset, especially to Harry, so he gets a group together and call themselves Dumbledore's army and begin to fight back. It's brilliant and a must read!

 Great book for readers

I love reading espcally the Harry potter series which i've read 3 times and this is by far the best but if your not a big reader then this book will drag on at some parts.

I really enjoyed this book. I totally agree with previous reviews that say it's a lot darker than previous book's, which for me is definately an up-side. One of the best in the series, and totally un-missable. Buy it xD

The longest book in the series and some say the hardest to read. The first three quarters of the book is setting up for the end of the book or for the end of the series. However, the end of the book is extremely engaging and you will not want to put the book down until it's finished. It is a lot darker (again) than the previous books, Harry is growing up and is experiencing the world as a teenage boy - temper tantrums and girls! Fred & George are brilliant in this book!
