Can Butterfly help Little Monkey find his mum? Yes, but only after a lot of trial and error as Butterfly misunderstands Monkey's descriptions and leads him to all kinds of unsuitable animals.

My two and half year old adores this book and calls it Mum. He likes to shout out the names of the animals as the butterfly and monkey are on their travels. He also attempts to read it himself and 'No, No, No, that's......... can often be heard. The book was also taken into nursery and the other children also adored it.

 A must have!

Another wonderfully witty story by Julia Donaldson! We have now collected all of her books and this is one of the all time favourites!

what a fantastic book, our daughter loves this book so much that at only 3 years old she knows all the words, i have just bought 3 more books by the same author and hope they will be just as popular, i think all children will love the monkey puzzle with its simple rhyming text, lovely pictures and the fact that we are not all the same

 Good book!!

A very good Book geared towards the younger child. My children and 4 and 6 and have now outgrown it. They now prefer the book 'Tiddler' to this one, but as with all Julia Donaldson books, this is a fantastic read!!
