Comment: This book is in good or better condition. It has no tears to the pages and no pages will be missing from the book. The spine of the book is still in great condition and the front cover is generally unmarked. It has signs of previous use but overall is in really nice, tight condition. The gods of Olympus are alive in the 21st Century. They still fall in love with mortals and have children who might become great heroes, but most of these children meet horrible fates at the hands of monsters by the age of twelve. Only a few learn the truth of their identity and make it to Half Blood Hill, a Long Island summer camp dedicated to training young demigods. Such is the revelation that launches young Percy Jackson on a quest to help his real father, Poseidon, avert a war among the gods. With the help of Grover the satyr and Annabeth the daughter of Athena, Percy must journey across the United States to catch a thief who has stolen the original weapon of mass destruction - Zeus' master bolt. Along the way, they face a host of mythological enemies determined to stop them. Most of all, Percy must come to terms with a father he has never known, and an Oracle that has warned him of betrayal by a friend.

I found this book absolutly AMAZING!!! This book is perfect for children as it teaches (without them realising) of the Greek Mythology and their beliefs. This book is also great for those who know of the Grecian myths and their gods as this book brings in so much from the Grecian legends. I am one of those people that could live on the Harry Potter books for the rest of my life but I been told I have to stop reading them for a whole year. Percy Jackson was a christmas present I never thought i'd be interested in but I picked it off the shelf to have a look and as soon as I got past Page 10 I was hooked and sorry to sound cliche it was a full rollercoaster-ride of daring feats and magical secrets. Its full of treachery, action and the most mystical ideas and plots. It sends anyone into a MUST-NEVER-PUT-THIS-BOOK-DOWN state of mind; I was that impressed with the book that I was able to read it one day! Who could believe Greek Gods in the 21st Century would be an amazing adventure plotline! Chapter 8 was a clear favourite for me as it is the true beginning of good old Percy Jackson's true life!

Half-Man + Half-God = True Hero

Read the books after seeing my friend read the eBook on her laptop at college. I bought it and absolutely loved it! I'm 17 and the book say 9+, but I enjoyed very much, and continued to read the whole series, which doesn't disappoint. Would recommend. :)

This is a top read for me the narrative filled with suspense that makes it a hard book to put down. For those who have a taste for greek mythology this will be enthralling with a twist hear and there that makes it more interesting and although underlined a teen fiction i woud recomend it to anyone it makes an enthralling read!!!!!!

Fantastic, I wish there were more stars!!!

I so wish there were more stars, if I could I would give it *************************************************** it's that good! With 40 pages left I thought it was over but it was not boring at all with a brilliant little twist at the end, I couldn't put the book down Sunday!!!! My advice: BUY IT NOW or as soon as possible!! Best book ever!
