Comment: This book is in good or better condition. It has no tears to the pages and no pages will be missing from the book. The spine of the book is still in great condition and the front cover is generally unmarked. It has signs of previous use but overall is in really nice, tight condition. Shipping is normally same day from our UK warehouse. We offer a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

Finally, a comprehensive collection of Charlie Brooker's hilarious Guardian Guide television column "Screen Burn". Possibly the angriest man in the world, Brooker (creator of the cult website TVGoHome) rips into his targets with merciless glee and an impossibly deft and scatalogical turn of phrase. Not a book that you can reliably read in public without letting out convulsive gulps of laughter, Charlie systematically demolishes Casualty, Simon Cowell, the Queen's speech, Jamie Oliver, Gillian McKeith, and pretty much anyone else who comes into range. If you're worried about the amount of rubbish on your TV these days then have no fear, Charlie Brooker is in your corner, and he's not going down without a fight!

Very clever, hilarious and the cause of many a funny look from fellow passengers on the train as I laugh out loud at Brookers brilliantly cutting, sarcastic swipe at TV. Fantastic.

Top 100 Games Reviewer

Bitter, sick, twisted, curmudeonly... and hilarious, charlie brooker only speaks the disarming truth making me want to vomit with jealousy at his intelligence, wit and writing skill in the process. He is only second to Ross Noble (a stand up comedian) with his skill in the way he strings sentences together to form wierd yet perfectly understandable comparisons between that of, say, Jimmy Nail and an identikit photo made by picasso using only spuds and knuckles. See?! You or I would never be able to think of that but as soon as you read it, you picture it in your head and think, My God he's right! It's simply funny from start to finish and if you like this I urge you to watch his show Newsipe (bbc4 at 10.30) or watch old shows of his other show screenwipe on youtube, also read is articles on the Guardian website!
