The game is set a few years after the events of the original Dead Rising. The zombie virus that originated in Santa Cabeza has spread all over the United States. The game will take place in the fictional Fortune City, which is modelled after the real-life city of Las Vegas. Chuck Greene, a former national Motocross champion, is somehow caught in the middle of the zombie apocalypse in Fortune City. Just like Frank West (the previous hero from the original Dead Rising), Chuck must defeat every zombie horde and psychopathic civilian he encounters to rescue the remaining survivors. Among the survivors is Chuck's own daughter, which serves as his primary motivation for battling the undead.

Guide Overview

Maps: Maps of every location will help you pinpoint the exact location of every object and collectable you'll need to crush the zombie hordes.
Object Lists: Complete object lists will reveal every object that you can use to combat the zombie menace.
Terror is Reality: Step-by-step instructions will demonstrate how to mow down the hordes of undead in the new zombie survival arena.
Unlockables: Detailed lists of all unlockables and collectables as well as steps to obtaining them all.

Ok for reference but poor otherwise.

I was quite disappointed in this guide generally. It's handy to use for reference when you just can't quite remember where to find that fireaxe or chainsaw but where this guide falls down is the walk through section. After completing two or three tasks you will notice straight away that side missions happen at totally different times in the actual game. This renders the strict pattern of completion that the guide offers completely useless. Ho well at least I can do it the old fashioned way, trial and error with a touch of exploration. Final verdict? Buy it if you love the game and want a keepsake for your collection. Otherwise just look online for weapon guides etc.

I thought the guide was well written and clear and gave you every hint and tip you needed to complete the game with ease and complete all the tasks required.A few of the messages come out of sync but thats more to do with the game engine rather than the guide being incorrect as I played through the game 4 times and the messages came through in different orders each time.It would have been mighty hard to get all the achievements without the guide. All in all a decent, clear and concise guide.
