Don't let the slim profile fool you; the Prima guide for PokePark is full of information to ensure players will get the most out of the game. On page 18 the guide begins to orient the player and gets into detail on what they need to do to start their exploration. But even more important are the zone maps, the first of which (on page 22 and 23) is a good example. Each map shows where every Crate and White Tree is and the main points of interest (places to make new Pokémon friends and try new challenges). Each of the points of interest also has a page reference so players can find out the details of each one.

Those page references on the map point players to the information on the various games and challenges that they'll have to complete to win more Pokémon friends and open up new areas to explore. They'll also have tips, like on page 88, that will help a player with new techniques or sound advice.

The PokePark Pad, starting on page 106, is a list of all the Pokémon you can befriend in the PokePark. Each entry has information on how to find the Pokémon, how to befriend them, how to become best friends (if possible), and what Skill Game they are best at. These details will be invaluable while playing the game. Plus, when you encounter or make friends with a Pokémon you can put their sticker (found on the sticker page in the book) onto the image to show that you've found that one.
