I like guides, i like collector's edition guides even more.
I know that the best resource of information for games is internet, still, i like the books.
This one is a bit of disappointment, though.
Pros:
The "package" is visually pretty
The artwork is very neat
Everything is nicely written, presented and is understandable
Not a (huge) plus, but the bookmark is nice
Cons:
Too little lore (it would have been easy to take the lore books of the Diablo franchise and put them in the book)
No maps, even if most of them are not random
The online guide is not up to date with the game patches (as I checked two weeks ago). The values of the skills are still referring to the pre-patch values.
Conclusion: I don't see additional value in this guide, if compared to the diablo wiki, for example.
