You play some mates, you play online, you play in career mode. Do it in style with skills, funky set plays and great goals. This book tells you everything that you need to know about Pes 09 for either PC, Xbox and PS3.

The DVD is great for guidelines on how to do moves etc but its worth just view the DVD along with the guide and you will have more chance of winning with flair!

Useful to get the best out the game.

As a seasoned PES player and having played the game since it came out on the PC, I never under estimate the depth of the game year in year out.. This guide covers almost everything about the game, how to do the moves, tricks, feints and the accompanying DVD shows this visually. It has common sense, easy to follow advice for the newcomers, stats and details for the more dedicated and analytical players, and plenty of useful nuggets even for people who think they know it all. This guide is a gem and if you are serious about enhancing your enjoyment of PES 2009 on the PC, PS3 or Xbox 360, then buy this book.

 My favourite book ever!

Forget the DVD for a moment; this book is an absolute corker. The words are crafted in such an exquisite way that I defy you to put it down once you've picked it up. Certainly less confusing than the Bible and featuring more characters than War & Peace, "Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2009 Official Guide & Coaching DVD" might just be the best book ever written. Shame the game is a bit rubbish.
