Reading this book makes you appreciate Tim Vine's comic skill, not just in the puns he writes but most importantly in his delivery of them. A lot of the puns in this book I have heard him use in his routine and they have made me laugh outloud. Reading them though and they can fall flat. Unsurprisingly I'm no comic compared to Mr Vine so I couldn't do them justice - either outloud or in my own head. It's all in the timing...
