Absolutely brilliant loved it, always liked the ads so had to have the book, im sure anyone that buys this book will find themselves reading it in a certain accent, dont think i'd feel the same if Gocompare bring out there own version.

OK! Not the greatest book ever written but, it is a laugh. Meerkats are a loved creature. This book will be annoying to some but, loved by millions! Come on, it is only a joke.

I think it's brilliantly funny that they have developed an advert character into a book. Alexander is loved by loads of people I know and I will be buying this for my dads christmas cause he loves the adverts so much.

ok, i admit it, I couldn't help myself - I enjoyed this book. If the adverts make you smile then so will this. Not a literary great but it'll cheer you up and it's a perfect stockingfiller.

This book has sold more copies than Tony Blair's autobiography! That's enough said really, Alexander is a legend. Good funny read, great value at a fiver.

What. An. Amazing. Book! This is literary gold! An incredible book documenting the life of a fictional meerkat. If anyone can find a better way to spend their time than reading about fictional meerkats then they're a better man than me!

Whether you're buying for someone younger than you, older than you, friend or family, you can guarantee there's nothing they'd rather do on Christmas day than read about a fictional meerkat off the TV. It is thrilling, topsy turvy journey that will keep everyone on their toes! It would even be suitable to read out to the entire family, possibly after xmas dinner. I challenge anyone to be able to put this down!

I got this book for xmas and it's fab. great fiction and fabulous "meerkat" language. this book is fabulousnesses :)

If you thought this was just the advertisers way of screwing a little more money out of us for good measure - you'd be wrong! I was given this book for Christmas as I am obssessed by all things meerkat and it really is a fabulous work of fiction. I would even say it should replace some childrens books as a bedtime story if you can get past the pigeon english. There is no end to this little meerkats appeal....Cant wait for the film...you heard it here first!!
