Comment: Aged book. PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE. Please note this book is over 20 years old. It will therefore have tanned pages, age spots and plenty of shelfwear. However for its age it is still very useable, and a great read.

Comment: This book is in good or better condition. It has no tears to the pages and no pages will be missing from the book. The spine of the book is still in great condition and the front cover is generally unmarked. It has signs of previous use but overall is in really nice, tight condition. Shipping is normally same day from our UK warehouse. We offer a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

There he lay looking as if youth had been half-renewed, for the white hair and moustache were changed to dark iron-grey, the cheeks were fuller, and the white skin seemed ruby-red underneath; the mouth was redder than ever, for on the lips were gouts of fresh blood, which trickled from the corners of the mouth and ran over the chin and neck. Even the deep, burning eyes seemed set amongst the swollen flesh, for the lids and pouches underneath were bloated. It seemed as if the whole awful creature were simply gorged with blood; he lay like a filthy leech, exhausted with his repletion.' Thus Bram Stoker, one of the greatest exponents of the supernatural narrative, describes the demonic subject of his chilling masterpiece Dracula, a truly iconic and unsettling tale of vampirism.

This book was so good. It's written in diary form, I wasn't sure about this at first but when other characters were introduced I loved getting different perspectives. The period in which the story is set makes for interesting reading as the characters behaviours are fascinating. The actions of the Count will keep you gripped. Just beware that it can get a tad boring towards the end as you're waiting for someting big to happen.

Read this on holiday during the summer with a friends old tattered copy, just got it for 1.99. Bargain, stunning book. Dark, well crafted, gripping. Couldn't ask for more.
