I have only now just become a fan of Philippa Gregory's work, after reading The Red Queen and The White Queen, I decided to pick this book up before I went off on holiday and I'm very glad I did.

Philippa's use of language and descriptions suck you straight into the book, you begin to feel like you are a member of the court watching as the characters go about their day. I enjoyed the take on The White Queen by the BBC and thought it would be good to read about her beloved daughter Elizabeth.

I would suggest anyone who is a fan of her work to read this book! I have enjoyed the Tudor history since a child and its so lovely to read a book where you get lost as you turn a page. Really enjoyed it.
