Offers imaginative cupcake designs using candy and sweets from the local store. This title shows how to create funny, scary, and sophisticated masterpieces, using common sweets and snack items. It helps cooks to raise a big-top circus cupcake tier for a child's birthday and trot out a line of confectionery 'pupcakes' for a dog fancier.

Amazing book
such imaginative ideas
yes its american and some ingredients arent that easy to get hold of
but reese's are in some supermarkets
or just use a alternative
be creative
which is exactly what this book is about
just bought the sequel 'whats new cupcake' cant wait to read it

 Sweet and adorable!

This book really brings out the fun side of cooking! The ideas are really brilliant and it's obvious the writers have spent a very very long time perfecting their creations and that's what makes the book really enjoyable! It's easy to follow and even the most complicated decorations are made easy! It's an extremely rewarding experience in the end

One problem is that some ingredients are only available in America, but you can compromise with some UK sweets easily enough! But this does leave room for compromise so you can create your own edible piece of art!

 A worthwhile investment

more about decorating than recipes but that was exactly what I was looking for. Easy to follow instructions with plenty of original ideas to inspire your creative streak. The only downside is that some parts are quite americanized with ingredients that aren't readily available in the UK but all in all a good book.
