This book really does seem to work and furthermore make the process of stopping smoking exciting, enjoyable and easy. It doesn't threaten, it doesn't condescend and it doesn't demand your willpower. Allen Carr addresses the reader as a fellow sufferer, not as an authority. He breaks down the different facets of this complex addiction and dispels the myths and preconceptions that keep people addicted. It worked for me. It worked for the guy who recommended the book to me. There's no reason it shouldn't work for everybody. I'm actually still surprised at how easy it was. If you want to stop smoking then I highly recommend this book.

Im 20 I felt the need to quit I had tried it all patches, gum, lozenges, micotine spray etc etc None of them worked and i had almost lost hope when i was told about this book, I read it, only took a few days after I finished reading I just didnt smoke anymore, these was no withdrawal or anything I was stunned
Going on 7 months now without smoking with no craving or even thinking about smoking again.

This book has saved my life, I will spread word of this book to all who smoke that I know, If your reading these reviews to decide wether or not to buy this, do it, you will not regret getting this, its as easy as simply reading it. He even tells you to carry on smoking while you read and when you finish you wont want to smoke anymore

Fantastic book

A friend had mentioned Allen Carr to me as they had read this book and were going to one of the seminars. I bought the book to see what it was about and after finishing reading it in july last year I've not smoked since, no withdrawals, no cravings, nothing. I will swear by this book to anyone who wants to stop smoking, by far the cheapest and best way to stop.

This book is bloody brilliant!! I smoked for nearly 10 yrs and stopped instantly reading this book, its amazing!! Any smoker who wants to quit should read this, i still have cravings but not very often, but when i do i just remember something from the book, that allen said and it soon goes.. a must have for smokers who want to quit!!

after smoking for 35 years, 5 weeks ago i was watching loose women on itv, and they mentioned how good allens book is, i thought i can`t lose anything by reading this book, so ordered a copy from play.com.

I am now a very happy non smoker, it works!!! i have stopped smoking, i havent smoked for 4 weeks and have no intentions of ever smoking again :-)
