A hilarious guide to travelling, from the man behind The World of Karl Pilkington - one of our most innovative thinkers, visionaries and prophets, or as Ricky Gervais knows him, 'the funniest man alive in Britain today'. Pack your suitcase and take an irreverent trip with the unlikely star of "The Ricky Gervais Podcast Show", Karl Pilkington, to the furthest corners of Europe. From sunbathing in t-shirts and lizards the length of Toblerones, to a toxic apartment in Ibiza with a used loo that can't be flushed - these witty musings could put you off travelling forever! Gain insight into the curious life of this comic genius from pithy anecdotes. Find out about his mum's obsession with keeping gnomes indoors and his experiences getting high on dope chocolate, to his childhood dentist who filled his perfect back teeth to give them 'extra protection'. This book features Pilkington's original illustrations and imaginative scribblings.

Karl Pilkingon is a comedy genius! The best bit is he doesn't even know hes funny or trys to be funny, its just his insane thoughts pinging around in his head that makes him so funny. As Ricky Gervais says he either a genius or a moron!
Karl's thoughts are so funny and just goes to show how different people are.
Some of this book will make you laugh out loud and as you would expect theres loads of Karl's great cartoon drawings in there too.

 Great, but overrated

i eagerly anticipated the delivery of this, yet found it not up to expectations. I expected to be laughing out loud at every page, but found it was more of a smile. Shame when i have found loads of Karls other stuff hilarious, maybe its just the topic of holidays. Great for the price, but dont expect it to be AMAZING AMAZING! hehe.

I just loved this book as Ricky Gervais says "If you think Karl Pilkington is a genius then your an idiot" Oh well I must be an idiot. This book made me laugh, though you have to watch where you read it, if your like me and read on the bus you will get funny looks for giggling to yourself ha ha but who cares its good to laugh :) :) so go on buy this book and have a good chuckle.

 Funny as hell

More exquisite surreal delights from the man who said the immortal words 'If you can't treat a cheerful tramp - they who can you treat?

 Just not funny.

Maybe I'm not understanding the humour, or I'm just missing the point completely, but I didn't find this book funny or entertaining at all. Also, the writing style is horrible - it could have been written by a child.
