It should be made more clear that this is an unauthorised biography, its a book written by a guy that knows him. Haven't read it yet, so cant really judge the content but just thought people should be aware.

An okay book but with long passages unrelated to Dave Grohl

This book gives a good insight into Dave Grohl the musician, but as with all things Grohl gives little clue to the man behind behind the music. There are some nice explanations about how songs came about and them meaning behind them, but large chunks of the book talk about other bands/musicians, which I was not personally interested in.
