Comment: This book is in good or better condition. It has no tears to the pages and no pages will be missing from the book. The spine of the book is still in great condition and the front cover is generally unmarked. It has signs of previous use but overall is in really nice, tight condition. Shipping is normally same day from our UK warehouse. We offer a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

This book takes readers back to David Niven's childhood days, his humiliating expulsion from school and to his army years and wartime service. After the war, he returned to America and there came his Hollywood success in films such as "Wuthering Heights" and "Around the World in 80 Days".

All 'celeb' autobiographies should be this good.

The Moon's a Balloon shows just how good 'celeb' autobiogs can and should be. Niven was a real star and his book is very well written, absolutely fascinating and utterly charming (as you'd expect coming from his pen).

This is a real classic of autobiography
