 Far from the best

I know this is the most famous of all the Jim Morrison books. But so far its the worst i´ve read. The writing is not that good, and it just seems like they are hyping him up instead of trying to make a decent biography.
Its not to say that you shouldnt read it, but if you are interested in learning about Jim Morrison then this should not be your first stop.
I recommend - Break On Through - and the book by Stephen Davies as the first books one should read about Jim. At least they are 10 times better than this book.

No One put this book down 'till you've finished it

This book is the best biog on Jim morrison thus far.It tells the story of Jim and his band-mates,The Doors. The author tells it as it is,with no attempts to disguise or glorify the often turbulent life of the genius that was Jim Morrison.A total must for Doors fans,or anybody fascinated by the complex workings of the mind of one of the most enigmatic figures the world of music has ever seen. With fantastic photographs this is a true and honest account of Jims life.
