This is a fairly interesting and funny account from childhood up to the beginnings of fame. There are plenty of references to drugs and his dinkle, and the strange combination of uncommon words and dubious grammar that Brand seems to love. It's hard to say without knowing the man, but it seems as if he hasn't avoided any of the darker areas of his life and personality. Still, at least he achieved the fame he so obviously craved.
This book was the best book i have read in ages! I had kept umming and ahhing about it, then was so glad when i finally bought it! I was never a really big fan of russels, but this book was so open and honest, funny and witty. I now love him!! The book is just "him" down to a t! He write just like he talks. It had me laughing one minute and touched the next! An excellent read! I would recommend it to anyone and everyone! And for £2.99 u cant go wrong! Bargain! You won't be disappointed!!!!!
Such a funny book.
At times I had to put it down because I had tears in my eyes from some of the random observations he makes.
Really nice story and fairly well written.
If you like Russel Brand at all, you will love this book
One of the best books i have ever read. You really feel like you get to know the man behind the massive character. Russell is a ledge.
