Good Book, although teacher is better

This is a brilliant book for anyone starting out on guitar. It simply introduced me to guitar basics such as reading tab, playing simple tunes and tuning. From then on, I got a teacher. I do recommend a teacher, it is very hard to teach yourself guitar and to keep going and going. Without a teacher, it is very hard to motivate yourself to play!
For those who can self-teach this is simply a brilliant book to help you along your way. Includes funny cartoons!

 Doing well so far

Speaking as a person who has never picked up a guitar before, never mind played one. I can safely say this book is putting me on track to play guitar at a level that I will be satisfied with. With easy to understand, step-by-step instructions, I can't really fault it. Only thing is there are a quite a few unnecessary bits. All in all I found it fine enough.
