I feel I can write a review on weight lost as I have lost a lot of weight over the years trying this diet and that diet.
But I always put the weight back on, buying Pauls book was life changing.
First off this is NOT a diet book this is a simple fundamental new way of thinking about food, your relationship with food and the way you feel about yourself.
Paul McKenna talks a lot of sense, which is important because he will be doing a lot of talking to you.
The CD that comes with the book is a big part of the process he guides you, motivates you, and inspires you using suggestions. The CD is 25 minutes of pure joy and well worth the money on its own.
Like Paul says "you don't have to believe it you just have to do it". I am hooked I have had incredible results in only a few weeks. This really works please believe me;.
I don't know if three stone weight loss is achievable in two weeks like the other reviewer has suggested, I don't know how much weight I have lost because I haven't stepped on a set of scales in two months. You don't need to know what you weigh with Pauls amazing system you just know the weights falling off, and you feel amazing.
I now take regular exercise not because I have to but because I want to.
I cant praise Paul highly enough. Try it.

I bought this 12 months ago and listened to the CD for a few months almost every day and read the book. I did lose over 1/2 stone, which was not far off my ideal and I kept it off until winter and then I put it all back on. I'm going to do it again now & hope to lose the same again. The idea's are solid and really common sense, but don't expect the weight to stay off without re-doing the process - that's if you have a spare hour each day to listen to the CD (and so long as you can get past his corny American style of therapy!)
Worth a try - but you really have to focus on the process daily and long term, which isn't practical for everyone.
Don't expect long term miracles, but if you're prepared to work really hard and stay focussed, it should work!
Tried lots of other diets and books.This one made me laugh.No dont,s just positive sensible suggestions.I could really see how this could work.I have be listening to the C.D daily and have almost lost a stone since Christmas,Give it a go.You have nothing to lose but weight.Thanks Paul Mc.Kenna and Play.com
In all honesty I haven't tried many diets, however the one's that I have tried only seemed to work short term. I got to a stage where I never thought I'd lose wieght. My breathing was heavy, I was inactve and lazy. I started doing this technique back in November and it is the best thing I have ever done to change my life and my views on food!
Since starting this I have lost four stone! I am fitting into clothes I never thought I would and I am feeling more energetic than ever. None of my friends and colleagues believe that it is due to Pauls system I am losing wieght! HA! If only they knew!
Paul's method works! I'm just disapointed I never used it earlier!
I'm not even following the advice strictly and I'm still losing weight continually and I pretty much eat whatever I want whenever I'm hungry. It can work for anyone as long as you are willing to give it a go!
i've been reading this book and following the 4 golden rules and i've put the hypnotic cd on my phone and listen to eat every night when i got bed. and the weight is coming off every week and feel more motivated than before and i've lost two stone with no problem! after when im finished with the book and the diary i'll read it all over again because it works!!!!!!!!!
I have been doing this for 2 weeks now and i have lost 4lbs so far. I have tried weight watchers and with that would lose half a pound a week.
When i told people i was trying this they laughed and said its a load of rubbish, well hah to them! It works if you work at it,.
It's a revelation, actually! The most efficient way to bring out the best of you in terms of body weight. Can be read in a few hours and might change your life and your relation with food forever! I totally recommend it!
I bought this book before Christmas becuase I thought I was goin to grow up and be big. I'm only 17 years old but I didn't like my weight. I've lost nearly half a stone since Christmas, and I think this is incredible. I used to eat slow anyway but I would eat when I'm not hungry and I think that's what put the weight on. But if you want to lose weight, this is the book to read, and once you read it, you'll probably never look back.
