A magnificent saga set in the Celtic twilight of 10th century Ireland, when myth was law and magic was a power of nature, brilliantly brought to life: the legendary story of an evil stepmother opposed by a seventh child.

Juliet Marillier's tale (based on the legend of the Six Swans) is a masterful story. A must for any fantasy lover, this book has everything; magic, villains and love, both familial and romantic. I challenge any woman not to fall in love with all of the male characters!

 Fantastic book!!

This is a book that hooks you into the story from the first pages and you cannot let it until it's finished. I wouldn't want to spoil you so i recommend you reading it
