Robin Hobb manages to transport you into another world full of magic and mystery. Loved every second of reading this book and could not put it Farseer Trilogy. Definately worth a read.

I've always thought the sign of a good writer was one that could make you empathise with characters - be able to make you love or hate things about them, and is one of the things that Robin Hobb does so well.
This book continues on the sound foundations laid by the first book (Ship Of Magic) and gives some of the characters a nice twist.
