Dave Lizewski is just an ordinary American teenager; he has a MySpace page, loves comic books, and is unable to find a girlfriend. Then an idea hits him: why not become a real life super hero? His life will never be the same again...Now a major motion picture directed by Matthew Vaughn and Jane Goldman, "Kick-Ass" takes comic book realism to a whole new level!

 KICK - ASS book

great, funny and emotional are only a few word to describe the storyline. Throughout you as the reader feel a super-hero along side the characters which is always a good thing! This isnt your ordinary super-hero tale, no radio-active spiders, kryptonite or muscular strength, this is a more belivable and honest way to fight crime. It really doesn't matter if you are reading this before of after seeing the KICK-ASS film it still works great as it was wrote to become a film, I am really looking forward to the second coming of the KICK-ASS franchise. A MUST BUY you won't be disapointed!.

this isnt your normal comic book turned movie the film company marv bought the rights to the film before the comic was finished so this time there is a justified reason why the stories are different i prefer the comic to the movie, the movie is cheesy and over rated where ass the comic is witty and gorey a must buy!!!

Better than the film by miles

with some great artwork and a funny story. This is a great read! not safe for kids though as it is pretty gory!

clever, good story with a very original vantage point: no high tech superheroes, but down-to-earth heroes with a lot of panache. beautiful drawings and a lot of bloody violence.
it all rounds up to a good graphic novel.
