Comment: This book is in good or better condition. It has no tears to the pages and no pages will be missing from the book. The spine of the book is still in great condition and the front cover is generally unmarked. It has signs of previous use but overall is in really nice, tight condition. Shipping is normally same day from our UK warehouse. We offer a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

The Republic of Gilead offers Offred only one function: to breed. If she deviates, she will, like dissenters, be hanged at the wall or sent out to die slowly of radiation sickness. But even a repressive state cannot obliterate desire - neither Offred's nor that of the two men on which her future hangs.

 Fantastic read

This book is so well written; I couldn't put it down. If you enjoyed the movie V for Vendetta you will love this poignant tale.

This is one of my favorite all time books. Perhaps not a "fun" read, but one of the most thought provoking, disturbing books I have ever read, and one that really makes you re-evaluate your place as a woman in a somewhat imperfect society. Mind blowing.

I thought this book was amazing. It's up there with H.G Wells Time Machine and Huxleys' Brave New World - a scarey look at a possible future. I was hooked from the beginning and have gone on to read other Atwood novels. Well worth a read!

Really good read, would recommend to anyone, though it can get quite complicated at times. In my opinion though, the complications make this book an excellent and challenging read.
