Top 100 Books Reviewer

A key LaVey Satanism text. Very interesting. Once you understand Satanism you discover their not that `bad after all. This is for anyone interested in exploring alternative faiths and beating back stereotypes. This is also ideal for those wishing to learn about this type of Satanism.

This book is full of interesting insights and perceptions and might surprise you that its not just about worshiping horned, red devils. Im no Satanist but found this an interesting philosophical read as this book makes you question the status quo. Thats why I feel that this book is also ideal for those who wish to indulge in a bit of alternative philosophy. You will find information on:

Satanic beliefs
Viewpoints of the Christian church
Satanic sex
Philosophies on love and hate
Indulgence
The ego
Satanic religious holidays
The black mass
Theory of Satanic magic
The practice of satanic magic and ritual
Invocations
The Enochian Keys

Reading level is for anyone with basic occult understanding and an open mind. The writing can however be cryptic at times. It should be noted however that the history given of LaVeys past is disputed.

im a humanist(richard dawkins is my god).years ago i was HEAVILY into the black arts, satanism, witchcraft.problem was when i wanted to raise the dead/satan/a demon, nothing happened.satanism is like christianity-the idea is sound but you get very little in the way of substance or proof of your worship.if as christians say we are in the end of days and jesus will return,i say GET ON WITH IT ! as im fed up with waiting.dont think i will be holding my breath just yet.the christian doctrine says christ his here,now-well if so let him show himself.its taken long enough.

This book is great. Its ideal for anyone who is interested in satanism. It shows their point of view and changes your life after you read it. First off the book shows that Satanists are nothing to what they are made out as, and shows that their religion is a way of athiesm. When reading this book you will find yourself agreeing with a lot of theories and statements.

Inside the book it shows satanists points of view on all kinds of things including, sex, religion, christianity and more.

This book is a great read for anyone. This book will change your life!

To the guy (or lady) who said about the "summoning failure".

You obviously missed the point of the book. Although the first half is about how to change your life or to be a better person, the second half (Rituals) is obviously one of two things:

a) An activity to undertake for fun
or
b) A parody.

There are no such thing as demons. You obviously didn't read the book properly.

Ahem

The review:

This book stays with me wherever I go, mainly just so I can pull it out and scare prudish people. It didn't change my life massively as I have been living it, even before I heard of it. However, for someone who is looking for the path to self-happiness, buy this. It's less than 4 quid, you cheapskate! ;)

Not what i expected but 1000 times better, this book shows the ideal religion. I have never known which religion to follow if any as all seemed false, after reading this , i would happily follow the Satanic religion as it appeals to me so much. A must have book.

I find the book to meet my personal expectations. However the only way to truly gain a definite opinion on the book is to read it yourself.
