Comment: This book is in good or better condition. It has no tears to the pages and no pages will be missing from the book. The spine of the book is still in great condition and the front cover is generally unmarked. It has signs of previous use but overall is in really nice, tight condition. Shipping is normally same day from our UK warehouse. We offer a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

This is a typical good Dan Brown thriller, as with all his novels this follows his typical pattern and syle. This one however is not based on history as some of his others, but has a much more modern computer based theme, although cryptography based of course! Not as good as Angels and Demons, but still a good read.

Firstly, Digital Fortress kept me absolutely riveted, I could rarely put the damn thing down! Secondly, although I would put it on a slightly lower par than the other Dan Brown books, I still believe you should DEFINITELY read this book - its worth spending a fiver on.

Set in the top secret NSA Government agency, Susan and her fiance David are both called in seperately to help Susan's boss with an emergency. While David jets off to Spain to recover an item which in theory should be relatively easy to gain, Susan helps her employer with the more technical side of things. A former worker at the NSA has managed to come up with a code that the NSA super-computer is unable to break. Fearing that this may go to publication and subsequently lock the NSA out of communication, both Susan and David (who is slightly less aware of the implications of his task) race desperately to find the pass-key to destroy the code altogether and consequently save the NSA.

Buy it, enjoyed it immensely.

Top 100 Books Reviewer

This is a mediocre book from Dan Brown. An interesting plot, but i found it rather predictable. I guessed who the baddies were, unlike his other novels where i didn't have a clue. However, it was refreshing for the female protagonist to be the ultimate saviour of mankind, unlike Brown's other books where they are merely a sidekick (with the exception of Angels and Demons). Still a good read, but nowhere on the same par as the others.

 Astonishing

Having read The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons prior to Digital Fortress, I didn't have great expectations. How wrong I was! Absolutely brilliant - even for those who are clueless to cryptography, it's amazing.
Definitely on parr with his other works.

 Highly Recommended.

Being a fan of Dan Brown's unique storytelling style and also some experience in the field of cryptology, this book has been as entertaining as can be expected from Brown. Difficult to put down and highly recommended. Dan Brown delivers with the same unexpected shocks as with his other books.
