5 One for the adults!Blueyespuss | 24/06/2011 | See all Blueyespuss's reviews (1)Firstly, the title should suggest that this is not a book for kids and the language doesn't get any better inside. What this book does convey though is the anger and failure that the author feels on trying to get his wide awake child to sleep. Sounds familiar? Then this book is for you.Hot crimson rage fills my heart, love - if you can relate to this, then you will appreciate the sentiments conveyed in the book. The author clearly loves his child, but is exhausted in the effort of settling him or her to sleep. The book is beautifully illustrated by Ricardo Cortes detailing the imagery conveyed by the author.Know that you are not alone.
