Comment: This book is in good or better condition. It has no tears to the pages and no pages will be missing from the book. The spine of the book is still in great condition and the front cover is generally unmarked. It has signs of previous use but overall is in really nice, tight condition. Shipping is normally same day from our UK warehouse. We offer a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

Dawn Annandale is bright, witty and well educated. But when her marriage began to fall apart, she had to face a seemingly insurmountable pile of debts on her own. Determined that her children would not suffer because of their parents' mistakes, and with no family to turn to for help, she searched desperately for a way to make some money, and fast. And made the decision to become an escort. CALL ME ELIZABETH offers an insight into the sex industry in the UK today, as well as the shocking truth that increasing numbers of women in a similar situation to Dawn are turning to prostitution to make ends meet. It is by turns sad, funny, frightening and empowering, but it is above all honest and compelling. From Emanuelle to Pretty Woman, the life of an escort remains deeply fascinating. There will be those who will judge the author, but there will be many more who will recognise her dilemma and understand how she reached her decision. This is her story - decide for yourself.

Finished this in one sitting - I only intended to read the first couple of chapters before bed! A very honest account of what makes a wife and mum turn to escorting to earn a living. It must have been a difficult to write so honestly about the sex trade, but empathy is displayed throughout. A fantastic page-turner.

 Refreshingly honest

I really enjoyed this book and, like the others who have reviewed, couldn't put it down. That said however, I found one of the early chapters particularly disturbing and found it difficult to sleep - that'll teach me for reading in bed!

I thought this book was really honest and frank. I agree with the other reviews that it's not seedy or sordid and I think Ms Annandale is really brave for using putting her experiences down in black & white for others to share.

I really enjoyed this book - I couldn't put it down - just shows that some people will do what ever it takes to keep their head above water & look after there family, not a seedy or sordid story just honest, all though a couple of her clients had some strange ideas!!

Gripping - Just can't put it down.

I found this book absolutly fantastic in every aspect. I could not put it down. I found it very gripping as I live where the story is set so you can imagine it even more. Fantastic read - recommend to anyone.

This book is definately a good read. It goes deeply into the life of a woman who is an incredibly good mother and just wants to make ends meet in a family that she never had while growing up. It goes into intense detail about her double life as an exscort and as a mother, and how she manages to juggle the two demanding jobs. There are also factors in her life that could quite simply drive her over the edge, but she manages to keep stable and together, for the sake of her family.

Definately worth buying, it is a very good read.
