Simply Divine | Paperback

This book was easy to get into, I didn't find myself confused at the storyline or the different characters but then again I doubt it's meant to be a complex read-just light-hearted, witty and very entertaining!
I loved the contrast between the two main characters; the glitzy, glamourous world of Champagne D'Vyne, a beautiful, pampered, fabulously rich socialite and the love-stressed, work-stressed world of journalist Jane. Champagne was by far my favourite character, you can love her one minute and loathe her the next! She's a lovable party girl really!
In my opinion, this book is perfect for escapist reading or to take on holiday. Although I tried to read it steadily at a few chapters a night, I actually finished it within a week- it was one of those books that's difficult to put down, I just wanted to keep on reading to find out what happens next!
