Outspoken, cynical and always outrageous. Frankie Boyle, the dark heart of 'Mock The Week', says the unsayable as only he can. Nothing and no-one is safe from Frankie's fearless, sharp-tongued assault. Full of taboo-busting humour, this is an outrageous, laugh-out loud, rant on life as he knows it.If you think Frankie Boyle is near the knuckle on Mock The Week, then you haven't seen anything yet! Enter Frankie's autobiography, My Shit Life So Far."I don't think anyone can have written an autobiography without at some point thinking 'Why would anyone want to know this shit?' I've always read them thinking 'I don't want to know where Steve Tyler grew up, just tell me how many groupies he f**ked!" From growing up in Pollokshaws, Glasgow (a town that 'was a lot like Bladerunner without the special effects'), to his rampant teenage sex drive and first job working in a mental hospital where, "most evenings were spent persuading an old man in his pants not to eat a family sized block of cheese"), nothing is out of bounds. If you can't get enough of Frankie Boyle, check out his forthcoming second live DVD

a very frank and interesting book, i laughed all the way through. he manages to make a joke out of everything, good or bad. some things he says are a bit shocking tho, not for the easily offended!!!

I picked this book up twice by accident in two different shops, and each time within seconds i was reduced to a gibbering wreck of laughter! Just pick any page and i guarantee you'll instantly be in tears laughing at the anecdotes. The one about Mrs Tait is a masterpiece of comedy writing. A must read!
