I bought this book because I am a huge fan of Charlaine Harris and her Sookie Stackhouse books. A Touch Of Dead, is a book made up of five short story's that didn't make it into the books. Each story is detailed and gives you a better insight into Sookie's life and Charlaine's world. This book is defiantly worth buying for any Sookie Stackhouse fan, I would definanly recommend this.

This is a collection of 5 Sookie Stackhouse short stories, mainly back stories that didnt make it into the novels. These stories are "Fairy Dust" , concerning the fairy triplets and explains the death of Claudette, sister to Claud and Claudine. "Dracula Night", finds the normally cool and calm Eric in hero worship mode, anticipating the apperance of the worlds most famous vampire. Thirdly there is "One Word Answer" which focuses on the death of Sookies cousin Hadley. The fourth story "Lucky " finds Sookie and her house guest Amelia in investigative mode. Finally in "Gift Wrap" set the Christmas before the happenings of Dead and Gone" Sookie encounters an uknown and injured Werewolf, who's set to give her a Christmas gift she wont forget. Overall this is a nice litte book with illustration and easily read in a short time. I did not find it as compelling as the novels and feel this may be for serious fans of Sookie Stackhouse.
