I bought this book with high hopes of it being a good and interesting read, how disapointed was I!!
This book has been written by an officer who clearly isn't interested in his role of a police constable anymore and has written it to make a quick buck. He has used the book as an avenue to show off and makes out that he is more than what he actually is. If you like a read that has a "querky" line at the end of each story this is the book for you, if not don't waste your money!

This book is very funny in parts, the sad thing is that these things that the police force have to deal with are true, and it expalains why the country is the way it is!!

Have numerous funny stories, one about a Lady who called the police becasue her Hamster had escaped.

This book is non fiction and will have you in stiches!!

This is a fantastic, funny and insightful book. I just could not put it down.
It made me laugh, angry and even slightly sad in places.

It is fast paced, easy to read and is broken down into short anecdotes so you can read a crafty chapter at work or leave it in the downstairs loo for others to pick up, although I think the danger then will be that you don't see it again.

I had no idea what the ordinary beat officer does or the nonsense that they have to deal with on a daily basis and, after reading it, I have no idea why anyone would want to be a police officer, but I'm very glad that they do.

I bought Wasting Police Time after seeing PC Copperfield on Newsnight, reading a great review in the Observer and then I hearing him on Radio Five Live. I feared it might be a disapointment but, on the contrary, this is the best book I have read this year.
