just a quick review. I love the jack reacher books, however the last couple have started to get a bit iffy in my opinion.

This one I could easily put down and I've read over several weeks, not several days like the others. He just doesn't get it to any decent fights in this book, you've never really thinking "wow this is a cool bit, or uh-oh he's in real danger now". I'm not sure why but it just seems to be a bit boring on this occasion, and the end..... I was so dissapointed when I read the last chapter. I put the book down at the end and was just thinking "well I'm not too worried about waiting for the 2nd part to come out later in the year now".

If you haven't had a problem with the last couple of books at all (they were good so I wouldn't blame you) then this will be a good read. If, like me, you're starting to think they might be going from the spectacular to the ordinary/good then you might find that this particular one is dissapointing.

three stars as a good book, just not my cup of tea compared to the earlier ones.

With travelling on the tube daily into London, I have read many a book on commuting in and out. 61 Hours is the first book of Lee Child's that I have read and it is the only book that has made me miss my stop at Oxford Circus. I found it challenging and enthralling and I have already ordered 2 more from Play.com to continue the enjoyable read.
