Comment: This book is in good or better condition. It has no tears to the pages and no pages will be missing from the book. The spine of the book is still in great condition and the front cover is generally unmarked. It has signs of previous use but overall is in really nice, tight condition. Shipping is normally same day from our UK warehouse. We offer a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

Nine year old Bruno knows nothing of the Final Solution and the Holocaust. He is oblivious to the appalling cruelties being inflicted on the people of Europe by his country. All he knows is that he has been moved from a comfortable home in Berlin to a house in a desolate area where there is nothing to do and no-one to play with.

This is one of the best books I have read in a very long time. I stumbled across it by accident on Play.com, and after a visit to Auschwitz a few years back I had to give it a read. Everything described in the book I could visualise. At first I thought it might have been a child's book but its not, it will appeal to people of all ages. I have passed it recommended it to everyone I know and not one person has come back and not praised it. Its thought provoking, tear jerking and you totally get lost in the story, and you certainly do not see the ending coming. I just hope the film coming out later this year can live up the books standard.

This book was a quick and easy read which surprised me, however, this was probably due to the fact that it was written in a childs narrative. I couldn't put it down and the story was sad with an ending I couldn't even begin to imagine could of happened. I will try the film as I think the plot is quite special.

 This left me speechless

It really is one of the best books ever. The cruel reality is presented in such an unsuspecting innocent way, its surreal. I couldnt believe it yet i know that things like this have happened.
Cannot recommend it highly enough.. Just read it then you'll see for yourself :)
