306 pages of pure goodness!
The book starts at the beginning of the summer holidays, with 3 kids hearing noises and seeing strange lights in the nearby woods. They go to investigate and find out about the Tree Of Seasons, which is a magic old tree that has doors into 4 kingdoms, each kingdom containing one season (Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn) The kids quickly learn that this magic world is at danger as the evil Queen Gridelda wants to take over all 4 kingdoms. Should Gridelda succeed she would not only rule the magic world, but the outside world as well. The children offer their help to save the magic tree. They end up in a fairytale adventure, they make lots of magic friends along the way and need to face many challenges. Will they save the magic tree? Now I can't possibly reveal that ;)

I really enjoyed reading this book. My friends daughter and nephews are currently reading it as well and they equally enjoy it! It is a sweet yet thrilling story, I can fully recommend this book!

Compelling Reading Could Not Put It Down

This book is a superb magical tale chronicling good and evil and the mystical world within the Tree of Seasons. It is a unique tale that crosses borders with Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings and even Disney's Alice in Wonderland. Modern day references make it a keep sake that will be told to generations of Kids and adults for years to come. Once you start the compelling reading you just can not put it down. I never wanted the story to end. We witness in this book the remarkable talent of writer Stephen Gately whose tragic loss means we must treasure this story. This is the unique legacy he leaves behind and for that we remain forever grateful.
