I NEVER buy game guides! But because I am a huge final fantasy I thought I'd buy this one. I do not regret this decision atall! For the first half of the game I refused the look in the guide, the game was pretty simple but as I progressed in the game I could not have continued without it!

Even if you refuse to use this guide for the main story, wait until you have completed that and then use it for the dozens of side quests, treasure spheres, weapon upgrades, monster drop rates, grinding spots and much more!

I normally pick up a copy of the guide with an RPG game, due to the amass of content, and I am always worried I am going to miss something I will not be able to get at another time.
This is a very well written guide with indepth battle startegy against bosses and normal mob types. The art work of the guide is stunning and the guide itself is well wrote.
I myself brought the limited collectors edition which are now sold out, but I would definately recommend getting this guide with the game. it saves hours of getting lost/fighting the bosses all wrong.
The guide provides a walkthrough of the story, all the skills, and items.
It also provide walkthoughs for all 64 side quest hunts.
A must have with the game.

Not a fan of game guides in general as most games are really quite simple to grasp and if your stuck on something just go on net and google it. But RPG's such as FF are packed full of detail so need a lot of work to master them.

I bought the FFX guide a couple of years ago and used the guide well, very well detailed and helpful, alike this guide, great quality packed full of information on everything on the game, best strategies, full walkthrough, secrets, weapons etc etc. 5 star
