The number one bestseller: just because your son can't look you in the eye ... does that make him guilty? Autism and families are entwined in Picoult's gripping novel.

Having read some of Picoult's other work I was eager to see what this would provide. It didn't disappoint, gripping from page one in both content and format. I love the way each chapter is from a different perspective of a different character whilst carrying the story. Equally I was left guessing at the real killer's identity whilst learning so much about Aspergers Syndrome. Picoult is an amazing writer who grabs her reader from page one and keeps you on a rollercoaster to the end. I highly recommend this above 'regular' fiction for it's writing quality and storyline...and I'm fussy!!

 Awesome!

This book was bought as a gift for me.

I was hooked! I couldnt put it down and was completely drawn into the world Picoult had created.
The way she wrote of protagonist Jacobs Aspergers Syndrome and the coping mechanisms employed by both him and his family was so endearing and I found myself wanting to learn more about the syndrome.
Very interesting.

 FANTASIC!!!!!!

Right from the first page, I couldn't put this book down. This is a real eye opener for people who don't know about aspergers that well. It shows how Jacob, who has aspergers syndrome, feels and how he doesn't understand how to interact with other peers. It also shows Jacob's mother and brother's feelings and thoughts. It shows a heart warming view on all three characters. This is by far my favorite book of Jodi Picoult's and other authors. Would highly reccomend this book to anyone!!!!!!!!!!

If you love Jodi Picoult, then you won't be dissapointed - i wasn't! One of Picoult's most gripping books! Having read a lot of her books, this must be one of her best (although all are amazing reads). This novel really opens your eyes to the feelings behind Autism. I'd reccomend this to anyone, even if you havn't read Jodi Picoult's other books. I love how it's from a several points of views, and Picoult's style of writing is beautiful. None of this book came to a dissapointment to me, except that it had to end!

 Brilliant...
