I thought this book was absolutely brilliant, a real must read. I couldnt put this book down, it makes you really feel so much for toni what her father put her through,. i would definetly recommend this book to anyone. =D

Never has a book made me cry before! You want to hug Toni, tell her things will be ok and take her away from that horrible place. Was very shocked that it was based in my home town in Northern Ireland! Can guarantee that it will melt any heart, you wont be able to put it down. Even my husband cried!!

I arrived home one evening totally awake as I had jet lag. My mum had left this book on the side and I kid you not I read it in 4 hours (solid reading!). I felt happy at her small triumphs, sad at her mother's betrayal and sickened when she described the graphic things he made her do. I honestly think this woman, along with others such as Constance Briscoe are absolute shining stars and we should look up to these women and celebrate in their triumphs. An Absolute MUST READ!

This an excellent book a real tear jerker but brilliantly written...parts of it are so sad you can not help but be moved to tears not just the abuse which is horrific in itself but also the bullying a child is put through by her parents the one set of people she should be able to trust. I really enjoyed reading this book although hard going because of the content i felt very privilaged to have read this very intimate portrayal.

i dont read many books but once i picked this book up i couldn't put it down, it took me only 2 days to read i found it brilliant and the detail was amazing

I read this book in just a couple of days, it is such a sad story written by an inspirational author, it is horrific the lives that some children have to live, well done Toni!

This book as one of the best I have read this year! Beautifully written, Toni is a really inspiration. Some parts I had to read twice as I could not believe what I was reading. Within 3 days I had read this book, and rushed out to buy the second.

This book hightlights the lives of what some children go through, Toni maguire led an unhappy life and was betrayed not only bu her father but by the person every child should be able to trust HER MOTHER!
I could not put this book down and read it within 4 days
